Round 2 of the Copa Libertadores will conclude this week, and in our featured match, we will see El Nacional of Ecuador head to Colombia to take on Independiente Medellin at Estadio Atanasio Girardot on Thursday. The match is set on a knife edge after an entertaining first-leg clash that ended 2-2. It’s been a poor start for the hosts in Primera A this season, currently sitting in 17th place and managing just one win in their first six matches of the campaign, along with two draws and three losses. That solitary win, however, came in their last match against Alianza Petrolera, which will give them some confidence heading into this one. The Ecuadorians have now gone six matches without defeat and will fancy their chances against an opponent that is struggling to find consistency in their performances.
