In their sixth game of Group J’s Euro 2024 qualifiers, Iceland will be at home against Bosnia-Herzegovina. Iceland are fifth in the group, with three points while Bosnia are one place ahead, three points better. A win for Iceland will breathe life to their dream of another Euro appearance. They made their Euro debut in 2016b and doubled up with a World Cup 2018 appearance. It has however been downward since, and they come into this game on three straight defeats. In their last 12 matches, Iceland have managed just one outright win and two on penalties. They have five losses in the last six matches and neither have they won a lot at home. Iceland lost their last two home matches and haven't won any of the last seven. In six Euro qualification matches, Iceland have five losses. Their most recent match ended in a 3-1 defeat to Luxembourg.

Bosnia-Herzegovina stabilized their own run with a return to winning ways, beating Liechtenstein 2-1 in their last game. That result brough to an end a three-game losing run. They also managed to score for the first time in four matches. Having beaten Iceland 3-0 in the first meeting here, they will be quite confident. An improvement in defence will however be key as they come here. Bosnia have no clean sheet in the last four matches; in three of them, they conceded more than a goal. In Euro qualifiers they have four wins in 10 matches. Away from home in Euro qualifiers, they’ve managed one win in the last three. With a superior head to head run against Iceland, Bosnia will be favorites to carry the day here.
