Two sides in desperate need of a win will face off in the Indian Super League on Monday when Hyderabad play host to Chennaiyin. Both sides are yet to register a point this season, with the hosts currently second-bottom, while the visitors are at the foot of the table. After finishing in second place last season, Hyderabad cannot seem to get going this term. They come into this match having lost their two games this season. It started with a 2-1 defeat against East Bengal and then a 1-0 loss to Jamshedpur before the international break. However, the hosts will still be confident heading into this one as they are unbeaten against this opponent in their last three meetings. This is also their first home game of the season, while they recorded 21 of a possible 33 points here last term. The bookmakers have given them the favourites tag in this one. 

Meanwhile, Chennaiyin have played three games this season and failed to win any. They were beaten 2-0 by Odisha in their opening match of the season. That was followed by a 3-0 loss to NorthEast United and a 3-1 loss to Mohun Bagan before the break. With eight goals already conceded, the visitors have the worst defensive record in the Super League so far. Chennaiyin have failed to win any of their last three competitive away matches and have only won once in their last ten on the road. They have also failed to score a single goal in their last four away games. The visitors have been outscored 5-3 by this opponent in their last three meetings and are the clear underdogs.
