Hull vs Watford Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Unbeaten in their last three league games, sixth placed Hull City host Watford who are 13th in the Championship. Hull go into the weekend occupying the final promotion play-off position, two points clear of seventh placed Blackburn Rovers. A play-off position looks to be the main target for the Tigers as they are 12 points adrift of the second and final automatic promotion place. The home side are unbeaten in their last three league games, most recently beating Rotherham United 4-1 with all their goals coming in the first 48 minutes. Their home league form has produced four wins with the same number of draws. The only home league defeat inflicted on them this season was at the hands of Southampton in October. Since then, City have won three straight league games, two of them by a 1-0 scoreline.

Watford may be only 13th in the Championship but a win at Hull on Saturday will close the gap between them and their opponents to just three points. The Hornets come into this game fresh from a thrilling 3-2 home win over Norwich City. A win didn't look likely when they found themselves 2-0 down after just 12 minutes. They fought back well though to get the win and keep in touch with the promotion play-off places. It was only their second league win in their last five games following a 2-0 loss at leaders Leicester City last weekend. Away form has been a struggle with one league win and only five goals scored in eighht games. They've only conceded 12 goals and we predict under 2.5 goals will be scored in this game.
