Hull vs Millwall Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Hull City host Millwall in the Championship this Saturday hoping to land three points to move them closer to the playoff picture at the top of the table. Liam Rosenior's team have had a case of feast or famine in their most recent games, winning six, but losing six, as draws have proven tough to come by. Last weekend was a positive one for The Tigers as they went to promotion-chasing Sunderland and emerged with a 1-0 win, with on loan Liverpool starlet Fabio Carvalho scoring the only goal of the game. The signing of Carvalho, who played a key role in Fulham's promotion to the Premier League a couple of season's back, is a very positive move for Hull City and I would expect the talented youngster to have a major impact on how the Tigers go over the remainder of the season. 

Millwall will certainly provide a test for them at the MKM Stadium. Joe Edwards' team ended a losing run of three games in all competitions with a 1-1 draw at home to Preston at the weekend, with Zian Flemming scoring the goal. Inconsistency has been a problem for the Lions this season, which is the reason they occupy a lowly 16th place in the Championship table with 33 points from 29 games. Shipping goals has been an issue of late with 9 goals conceded in their last four games in all competitions, seven of those goals coming at the New Den, while the Lions failed to score in their only away game in that run - a 2-0 defeat to London rivals QPR. Historically, there is little between the two rivals with Hull winning 26, Millwall 24 and 21 games drawn, suggesting that this game, as was their 1-1 draw earlier in the season, could be a very close call.
