This should be an absolute cracker of a game. Hull City are desperate to get back into the Premier League at the first attempt after their relegation last season. All has gone well so far and they top the table on goal difference from unbeaten Brighton and Hove Albion. Derby County are in fourth place just two points behind Hull so a win here will make them league leaders. Both sides are in good form, actually over the past six games, these two sides are top of that form guide table with Hull having 16 points from their last six league matches and Derby 13. Hull are unbeaten in their last 13 games in all competitions and that includes knocking out Premier League leaders Leicester City in the Capital One Cup. They have the second best home record in the division and are unbeaten with six wins, two draws and just three goals conceded and haven't let in a goal in their last three home league games. Derby County were in the play-off positions for most of last season but faded away in the dying weeks of the season. This year they're challenging for promotion again  They have only lost one of their last 12 league games and that was a recent away defeat at Notts Forest. That's their only away defeat and they have the third best away record in the division. A great game looks guaranteed and I go for a narrow home win.
