Hull vs Bristol City Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship
by Donal Kearns | in Championship Predictions
Derby have won 12 of 22 home matches, losing just three times. They’ve won three on the bounce at home, with those victories coming by an aggregate score of 12-1. They seem to have clicked in front of their own fans, while the Baggies have failed to win their last three trips under James Shan. They lost two of those away games, while we see them suffering another defeat here as the Rams tie up sixth place. We predict a win for Derby, rated at 1.95 with Bet365. Bristol City are still in the playoff picture in Sunday’s Championship finale. The Robins are two points off sixth with one more game to play, so can they wrap up with a victory at Hull this weekend? The Tigers are hoping to secure all three points and end on a high, but a four-game run without a win could open the door for the visitors. Bristol City need plenty to go their way on Sunday to keep their season alive beyond the weekend, but Lee Johnson’s side will be doing everything they can here to get over the line.
Hull are bringing down the curtain on a strong year for them, while they could finish up this season in the top half. The Tigers are up to 13th after spending the early stages of the season down at the bottom. They picked up their form to race clear of the bottom three, even going as far as to break into the top 10. They are now level on points with 12th, but their recent winless spell has seen them dip back into the bottom half over the last few weeks. Will they suffer another negative result and stay in the bottom half? Bristol City needed to rally in midweek, as they won 2-1 at Millwall to stay in the top six race. Last weekend brought a defeat at home to Derby, which looked to put the Robins out of the running. However, they have managed to take things down to the final day. The odds may be stacked against them going into this game, but the visitors do head to the KCOM as the favourites to take the points at least.

Our Hull vs Bristol City Prediction
Having won half of their away trips this season, Bristol City are expected to secure another success on their travels. They edged out Hull in the reverse fixture, while their top six push should kick on the visitors to get a result here. After all, they’ve secured 54% of their points this season on the road, a number which could grow if the Robins come away from the KCOM with a victory. While Hull have a decent home record this term, there is a noticeable issue against the league’s top teams. They have lost to four of the top six at home this season, beating just one of the top eight at this ground. Overall, they’ve lost 10 of 15 meetings with the top eight, so we see another victory for the Robins on Sunday. Bristol have great odds to win at 2.38 with Betway.
