Hull City were relegated from the Premier League last season and still aren't safe from another disaster in dropping into League One. They are 18th in the Championship just six points above the bottom three. They had started to draw away from the bottom three after wins over Norwich City and Ipswich Town but then lost 3-0 away to fellow strugglers Birmingham City. Now they face two games against fourth-placed Aston Villa and a trip to leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers and two defeats will put them in trouble again. Home form has seen Hull win just two of their last eight home league games and they have only won six home league games all season. There are usually a few goals scored though with 66 this season in 19 home games with 13 having over 2.5 goals scored in them, more than any other team in the division.

Aston Villa are fourth in the table but seven points adrift of second-placed Cardiff City and played a game more. it's looking like the play-offs for the midlands side after two straight league defeats to QPR and Bolton Wanderers. They are eight points clear of seventh place so need to keep getting some results to avoid dropping out of the play-off positions. Their last seven away league games have seen five wins and two draws but seven away losses this season have seriously hurt their hopes of automatic promotion.  Both sides are inconsistent at present so a bet on over 2.5 goals in the game looks the best way of getting a profit.
