After extended rest, Atletico Madrid returned to action with a resounding win and will be hoping to keep up when they travel to Huesca for their second La Liga game on Wednesday. Hosts Huesca are still settling in the league after promotion and are yet to win in their three matches. Going to the game, Huesca have two points after a loss and two draws and are placed 16th. They have kept no clean sheet yet in the league and have trailed in their last two matches, going on to lose one. In their most recent match, they had to come from down to collect a point in a 1-1 draw with Valencia. Playing at home, Huesca had a strong finish to the second tier last season, winning three of their last four but they lost their opening home game in La Liga, falling 2-0 to fellow newcomers, Cadiz. With just two clean sheets in their last eight matches, Huesca will need to tighten up at the back as they head to this game, against one of the La Liga title favorites. Atletico Madrid on their part, did not have any official preseason matches and their first game since elimination from the Champions League by RB Leipzig saw them hit Granada 6-1. A key man in the game was Luis Suarez, the Uruguayan coming from the bench in the 70th minute for his debut and assisting a goal before scoring twice on his debut. Diego Costa opened the scoring in that game but it was in the second half that Granada were cut open, with five goals and only replying with one. That win meant Atletico are unbeaten in 17 straight La Liga matches and have scored in each one of these. In their last five league matches away from home, they have scored two or more goals and facing Huesca will be an opportunity for the team to try and better their away day stats. In their last 16 away matches in the league, Atleti have managed just four wins, though they have lost only two. Seven of Atletico’s last 10 away matches have produced less than three goals
