Huddersfield spent two seasons in the Premier League before being relegated last term. It was a fairly miserable time really with a goal draught for most of it. Their fans will be hoping for a happier season this time around and hopefully seeing a few more goals scored. If that is the case, the goals won't be coming in this game from striker Steve Mounie. He's only just returned to training after playing in the Africa Cup of Nations tournament for Benin. Also out for Huddersfield is Demeaco Duhaney but all of their six new signings are fit and ready to make their league debuts. Huddersfield went unbeaten in their six pre-season friendlies but only one of those games had over 2.5 goals scored in them. In the final months of the Premier League season, four of their last six home games saw under 2.5 goals scored.

Derby came close to winning promotion last season losing to Aston Villa in the play-off final. Soon after they lost the services of manager Frank Lampard to Chelsea. Phllip Cocu is now in charge but he starts the new season with some selection problems. Both Jack Marriott and Duane Holmes are doubtful for this match and they no longer have Mason Mount in defence, another who has gone to Chelsea. Away form was mixed last season with only two wins in the last 12 games of the regular season. With both clubs having undergone big changes during the summer this could be a cagy game. Go for under 2.5 goals to be scored.
