Huddersfield Town have already conceded nine league goals in just two games but they were against Chelsea and Manchester City. A home game against Cardiff City is almost like a cup final for both teams. This is the kind of game that they have to be getting points from if they want to avoid relegation to the Championship. Huddersfield finished 16th in the table last season just four points above the relegation zone. It was home form that kept them safe with six wins, five draws and eight defeats but their problem is scoring goals. Only 16 of them at home last season and 12 on their travels. Just the one goal so far this season and somehow they need to start scoring regularly especially when playing teams like Cardiff CIty. Five of their last six home league games have seen them fail to score highlighting the problem they have.

For Cardiff City, it's not been too bad a start to the season with one point from their two games. Their opening fixture saw them lose 2-0 at Bournemouth who went on to win at West Ham the following week. Their first home game of the season resulted in a goalless draw with Newcastle United but could so easily have been a second loss as the visitors missed a late penalty. Goals are also going to be a problem for Cardiff this season and it's going to be a long hard struggle to stay up. A bet on under 2.5 goals is the suggested bet for this match.
