Neither of these two clubs were in good form in the weeks leading to the Bundesliga season being suspended. Hoffenheim are ninth in the table and host Hertha Berlin who are four places below them in the league. Hoffenheim are only two points behind the final Europa League place and with sixth placed Schalke in poor form, they could yet catch them. Away form has seen four wins, four draws and four defeats but they have won three of the last four. Both teams have scored in four of their last five away league matches.
