HJK Helsinki vs Aberdeen Prediction & Betting Tips - Conference League

This Europa Conference League game is being contested by two clubs already eliminated from the competition. Bottom placed HJK face Aberdeen who are third and a point ahead of them. HJK have only earned a single point from their first four group games. That came in the reverse fixture against the Scottish Premiership side in October. They led in that game only to see Aberdeen equalize in the 79th minute. All the other group fixtures played by 'The Club' have been lost. Their most recent loss was a 1-0 home defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt. They have only scored three goals and conceded 11. Although they won't be qualifying for the knockout stages, HJK have confirmed their place in the qualifying rounds of next season's Champions League. They finished top of the Finnish Veikkausliiga Championship Group despite losing their last two games. Their last four matches (two against Frankfurt) have all been lost with 12 goals conceded.

Aberdeen have just a couple of points from their four group games. That's left them seven points behind second placed Frankfurt. Their elimination was confirmed when only drawing 2-2 away to leaders PAOK. They led and trailed in that game before getting a late equalizer but Frankfurt's win over HJK sealed their fate. The Dons are looking unlikely to be in Europe next season as they are only ninth in the Scottish Premiership, two points above the relegation places. The weekend saw them go ahead at home against Rangers but end up drawing 1-1. They have only won two of their last nine league and cup games.
