All of a sudden this cup semi-final becomes a really important game for Dortmund. Their shock exit from the Europa League and continued failure to narrow the gap on Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga (still seven points with just four games to go), means this competition is probably their only hope of winning silverware this season. Dortmund have only lost one of their last 15 league games but just can't get near Munich so second place is the best they're going to get.  They have had to play away in the last two rounds of this competition and beat Stuttgart in the quarter final. Hertha Berlin are fourth in the table and looking good for a Champions League place but aren't in good form losing two of their last three league games including a 5-0 hammering at Monchengladbach. They have a home draw and an away loss against Dortmund this season but haven't lost at home since October. Purely looking at form this looks like an away win for Dortmund here.
