Hertha Berlin start the weekend in 15th place in the Bundesliga, one position above the relegation play-off position. They host Freiburg who are fifth in the table only six points behind the league leaders Borussia Monchengladbach. The home side are in poor form with a run of five straight defeats ended when getting a 2-2 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt. That was disappointing for them considering they led 2-0. Their home record has seen Hertha win twice in the league but lost four matches with the last three all ending in defeat. Each of their last eight home league matches have seen over 2.5 goals scored in them.

Freiburg may be in fifth but that's mainly down to their home form where they have only lost one out of seven. On their travels though it's not such a good record of late with no wins in their last four with just two points earned. Their games are rarely short of goals and nine of the last 11 Bundesliga games have seen over 2.5 goals scored in them. The stats point us therefore towards a bet on over 2.5 goals being scored in this match.
