Hearts start the weekend in sixth place in the Scottish Premiership. There's no chance of them getting into the top three and qualifying for the Europa League but they have no relegation worries either. Last weekend saw them lose 2-0 to neighbours Hibs and that extends their winless run to five games including defeat to Motherwell in the Scottish Cup quarter finals. Home form has kept them in the top half of the table with an unbeaten run of ten league games and they will want three points from this game to help them be in the top six when the league splits in two next month. So far this season they have played Partick Thistle twice with both games ending in 1-1 draws.

Partick Thistle are one from bottom in the table which is the relegation play-off place. They are three points below 10th placed Dundee who they recently lost at home to. Partick have gone six league and cup games without a win but did hold Aberdeen to a goalless draw last weekend. Away form is dreadful with just one win in the last 19 league games conceding in all but one of them. This game looks booked for a home win so go for Hearts to get the three points.
