This early evening Sunday game is a Norwegian top-flight battle and features two sides amongst the top nine of the division.  The Haugesund Stadion is the venue for this contest between ninth placed Haugesund and third placed Valerenga who are seperated by six places but also just six points.

Huagesund saw their four-game winning run come to an end last time out in abrupt style as they lost 3-0 at Mjondalen a side sitting in 13th so that was somewhat of a shock result.  At home, they are flying with four successive victories with three of these coming to nil.  They are one of only three sides in the division to be unbeaten at home this season though they have only played five times while others have had as many as eight home matches.

Valerenga fought back from two goals down to rescue a home 2-2 draw with Lillestrom last time out a result that made it back-to-back draws and stretched their unbeaten run to six.  On the road, they have been strong this season with three victories, two draws and just one defeat in six.  They are the joint highest scorers in the division (alongside Molde) when looking only at away fixtures played.
