Osasuna have the chance to leap into the top half of the La Liga when they travel to Granada on Sunday. Heading into this encounter, the hosts are 13 points below safety while Osasuna need four more points for their survival to be guaranteed. Granada’s last two outings had a semblance of stability, avoiding defeat in consecutive games for the first time since February. Their return to La Liga has been tough. They have eight more wins than Granada this season and will have the feeling of favorites coming into this game. However, their recent run hasn’t been great. Ahead of this game, Osasuna suffered four defeats in five matches. They head into this match seeking a response after losing 2-1 at Rayo Vallecano, in a game they conceded twice inside the final 10 minutes. Their only win in the last five matches was against bottom side Almeria, which is also their only clean sheet in five matches. Away from home, Osasuna have just two wins to show in their last 12 league matches, and they’ve lost seven times in that period. Osasuna have however dominated this encounter and will want to carry this run to the Sunday match. They are unbeaten in the last four meetings with Granada, winning three, including the reverse fixture which ended 2-0.
