In the Super Lig this weekend, leaders Trabzonspor travel to Goztepe to take on the midtable side at the Gürsel Aksel Stadium on Sunday. They will be without John Obi Mikel after the midfielder's contract was terminated by mutual consent. Obi Mikel stated that he wasn't comfortable playing football during the current health crisis enveloping the globe. Trabzonspor are top of the table but only thanks to their superior goal difference over second-placed Istanbul Basaksehir. Goztepe, meanwhile, are eighth in the table, 12 points clear of the relegation zone and 12 points off the European places. Last week's 2-0 win over Rizespor brought a dismal run of four games without a victory to an end. Trabzonspor are unbeaten in their last 11 matches in the Super Lig, the last outing being a close draw with Istanbul Basaksehir. Although the departure of Obi Mikel is a blow, he was not a key player for Trabzonspor.

The key players of Trabzonspor are the key players of the Super Lig, at least according to WhoScored. The three highest-rated Super Lig players all play for the table-toppers: Jose Sosa, Anthony Nwakaeme and Alexander Sørloth. The top scorer in the Super Lig, Sørloth has scored 19 goals in the division this season. He is without a goal in his last three appearances but scored seven in his previous seven. Trabzonspor lost the reverse fixture against Goztepe earlier in the campaign and they have a poor record against them in recent seasons, losing three of their last five meetings. Trabzonspor's last visit to Goztepe, however, saw them emerge victoriously. With the best away record in the Super Lig, we predict the visitors will repeat the trick on Sunday.
