Basakhesir have made a great start to the Turkish Superliga season and begin the weekend with a four-point lead at the top of the table. They have won their last four games all by the odd goal and are unbeaten in their last ten league games. Only one of their league games has been lost this season and that was to Kasimpasa in August when they lost to a 91st minute goal. Defence is their strong point and they have only conceded five goals in twelve league games. Six away games have only seen eight goals scored with three conceded, two in that loss at Kasimpasa. Three of their six away league games have been won.

Eighth-placed Goztepe are nine points behind their opponents and in their last league game lost 2-1 away to Erzurumspor who are currently in the relegation zone. That was their third defeat in their last five league matches  They do tend to blow hot and cold as twelve league games have produced six wins and six defeats. Home is where they play the best though with five wins and a defeat and the last five have been won with four clean sheets. It'll be interesting to see how they react after that latest away defeat and the tip here is to go for under 2.5 goals to be scored.
