Ghana - Central African Republic: Form Analysis
Following Madagascar’s victory over Comoros, Group I has been blown wide open with three teams all locked on six points apiece. Among those teams are Ghana, who are in third place at the moment owing to their inferior goal difference. The Ghanaians are looking to bounce back from a dismal Africa Cup of Nations, where they were knocked out in the group stages, finishing as one of the two worst third-placed finishers. In this competition, the Black Stars have recorded two wins and one loss to date, scoring three goals while conceding two. Their victories came against Madagascar and Mali, while they were beaten 1-0 by the Comoros. Despite their mixed record, Ghana are a difficult side to beat on their home patch. Excluding AFCON and World Cup games, the Black Stars are unbeaten in their last 20 matches on home soil - a record that dates back to September 2019.
Meanwhile, the Central African Republic did not make the trip to the Ivory Coast for the AFCON earlier this year, having failed to qualify for the competition. During the qualification tournament, they finished third behind the Black Stars and Angola, managing seven points from six games. The Wild Beasts have fared better in these qualifiers, though, managing four points from their first three games, including a win over Chad, a draw against Mali and a loss, which came in their opening match versus Comoros. However, that result against Chad marked the side's third win in a row following back-to-back victories against Bhutan and Papua New Guinea during the international break back in March. Additionally, CAR also maintained clean sheets in each of those victories and last conceded a goal last November when they drew 1-1 with Mali. Nevertheless, Les Fauves have never beaten the Black Stars in a competitive match before and are the underdogs in this one.

Ghana & Central African Republic Squad Analysis
Ghana coach Otto Addo opted to leave behind eight regular first-team players from this month’s qualifiers. These include Athletic Bilbao’s Inaki Williams, Majeed Ashimeru of Anderlecht and SC Freiburg defender Daniel-Kofi Kyereh. Among the players missing due to injury are Iddrisu Baba of Almeria, Daniel Amartey, Joseph Painstil, Nathaniel Adjei and Dennis Odoi.
In the opposite dugout coach Raoul Savoy has no new injury concerns to contend with and will likely send out a very similar side to the one we saw in the win against Chad in midweek. Venuste Balboula scored that day and should keep his place in the three-man frontline alongside Christian Yawanendji and Louis Mafouta.

Our Ghana vs Central African Republic Prediction
Ghana enter this match as the clear favourites but coach Otto Addo will know that this will not be an easy fixture against a Central African Republic side that are unbeaten in their last four games in all competitions. However, despite Ghana’s mixed form of late, they have been good in attack, scoring two or more goals in four of their last five games and we feel they will get a couple more in this one. Our Ghana vs Central African Republic prediction: Over 1.5 goals.

2 Goals Ahead Early Payout Offer
One of the worst feelings when placing a football bet is when the team that you have backed has gone into a multiple-goal lead only to be clawed back to a draw or to lose the game in question. This is something that bet365 has rectified for their bettors courtesy of this offer. If the team that you backed takes a two-goal lead your bet will be paid out as a winner. That is any two-goal lead so 2-0, 3-1, 4-2 etc will all be paid out early as a winner if your team is in that position. This is available in 80 different competitions including the major leagues across Europe and can be played on the full-time result market. Singles and multiples are both valid for this offer but you cannot bet on enhanced price markets. As with most promotions, if you cash out a bet in full, the bet will no longer be available for the offer in question. It also cannot be used if you bet on the draw on a game.
