Getafe welcomes Real Sociedad to the Coliseum Alfonso Perez for this match in La Liga. The home team are currently in 19th position with one point while the visitors are in 10th position with seven points. Getafe are coming of a 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Valencia in their last match. They have now lost three of their opening four matches with one draw. They have already conceded 11 goals and only scored two in their four matches. Last season they finished just a point above the relegation zone and to avoid another relegation battle they need to start picking up points. Getafe have not won in their last nine league matches stretching back to the end of last season. They have lost five and drawn four of these matches. This is their second worst start to a La Liga season after the 2021/22 season when they lost their opening four matches.

Real Sociedad will be on cloud nine after their historic win in their last match. They beat Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Europa League for the very first time and it will be interesting to see if they can match the intensity of that game just three days later. They need to be weary as they have lost the league match following a midweek Europa game on the last three occasions. Real Sociedad will however be boosted by their away form this season and have won both matches on the road. They have only lost one match this season with two wins and a draw.
