Getafe will look to bank on their impressive home form as they come against a goal-shy Vallecano side as action resumes after the winter break. They have been a stubborn side for most of the opponents with only one defeat across their last 12 league games – four wins and seven draws.

Vallecano found themselves sliding down the table after a strong start, and ended outside top-ten by Christmas. They lost 1-0 to Valencia last time out before Christmas making it a third defeat across last four league games. They have also been chalking out draws at will though, picking up eight stalemates across their last 13 La Liga matches. Scoring has been a problem though, as their tally of 16 goals is lower than all sides bar three at winter break. That was evident on the road, as Vallecano failed to score in their last three away league games, drawing one and losing two.
