Gamweek nine in La Liga will see Getafe taking on Osasuna at Estadio Coliseum on Saturday afternoon. Azulones are currently in seventh place in the league standings, while Los Rojillos are 15th after eight games in the season. Let’s get into the match prediction.

Getafe made a poor start to the season, earning four points from their first seven games, all by way of draws, while suffering three losses during that time. 

However, Azulones did manage to break their league duck last weekend, when they overcame Alaves 2-0 at home, marking their first victory in the top flight since beating Almeria at the end of April. 

While the hosts’ form this season has been far from impressive, they have maintained an unbeaten home record, drawing three and winning one of their four games. They also maintained clean sheets in three matches over the period. 

Meanwhile, Osasuna have got off to a positive start to the 2024-25 league campaign, earning 14 points from eight games which is the same tally as Athletic Bilbao in fifth place. 

Los Rojillos seem to be improving with each passing week and put on their best performance in a long while last weekend when they took down the then-flawless Barcelona 4-2 on their home patch. 

However, on the road, the visitors have been much less impressive, losing two and drawing one of their three games this term, while failing to score in two of those matches.
