With ten matches left in the regular season, it seems inevitable that Barcelona will be crowned champions of La Liga, but this weekend they will be headed to the Coliseum Alfonso Perez to take on Getafe in a Sunday afternoon clash. The champions-elect currently lead the La Liga standings by a formidable 13 points over their nemesis Real Madrid and need just five more wins to secure the title. Barcelona played out a rare stalemate in their last match against Girona, which extended their recent run to five matches unbeaten, including four wins and one draw. The visitors unsurprisingly boast the best away record in La Liga this season, with 12 wins and just two losses in 14 matches on the road, and come into this one on a three-match win streak in away matches in all competitions. Barcelona won the reverse fixture 1-0 back in January and will be expecting nothing but another three points in this one as they close in on their 27th domestic league title. 

Getafe, on the other hand, are still peering nervously over their shoulders at the relegation scrap, which is far from over. The hosts currently occupy the 15th spot in La Liga with 30 points after 28 matches and find themselves just three points above Valencia and the drop zone. Getafe lost their last match 2-0 against Champions League contenders Real Sociedad which brought an end to a four-match unbeaten streak that included two wins and two draws. Getafe were quite poor for most of the season in home matches, with a record of five wins, four draws, and five losses in 14 matches, but they have seen an uptick in their home form in recent weeks and come into this one unbeaten in their last four matches at Coliseum Alfonso Perez. However, the visitors have failed to beat this opponent in their last four attempts, losing three and drawing one, while being outscored 8-3 in that period. Getafe will need to pull off the shock of the weekend to take something away from this one.
