A great run in La Liga sees Deportivo Alaves just a point behind fourth placed Real Madrid and they will want to pick a win in the first game of the round, to soar above Real, who have a tricky tie against Sevilla later on in the weekend. Sixth placed Getafe can only seek to open a five point gap ahead of Real Betis and hold on their Europa League qualifier slot. At three wins and two losses in the last five home league matches, and with three clean sheets, Getafe can afford to look at this as a great chance to bag three points. However, they have not beaten Alaves in any of their last three meetings, which should give Alaves some hope going to this clash.
