Getafe will be looking to shrug off their shaky start to the season when they host Deportivo Alaves in La Liga this Saturday afternoon at the Estadio Coliseum. The Azulones find themselves in a fixture that has proven difficult in the past few years, with six draws and two losses out of the last eight encounters against the Babazorros. Check out the match prediction below.

Although suspended head coach Jose Bordalas was resigned to the stands last match, few would have given Getafe a realistic chance against current league leaders Barcelona. Still, while Geta lost the game, a well-disciplined defence had limited Blaugrana to just one goal on the night. 

The Azulones have yet to record their first win this campaign, with three losses and four draws coming out of their last seven. Despite only conceding six goals from these matches, they have lacked significant attacking prowess, with just three goals to their name this season.

Three of their four draws have come at home this season, with the Deep Blue Ones narrowly escaping defeat due to an 83rd-minute penalty against Leganes on Sunday night.

Meanwhile, El Glorioso had hoped to sneak a point late on after pulling two goals back against Real Madrid last time out but fell short in the end to record a spirited 3-2 performance.

The Blue and Whites have still been able to maintain an impressive run of form, though, with three wins and two losses in their last five matches this term.

However, due to their defensive frailties, Alaves have only managed to win one out of their last four matches away from home.
