The 2020/21 Nations League begins and both Germany and Spain will want a better campaign this time. This is a Group game in League 1 with the other two sides competing being Switzerland and Ukraine. Germany had a terrible run in 2018/19 tournament, carrying on their poor defence of the World Cup. They finished bottom of their group behind France and the Netherlands and were supposed oto be relegated to League 1. Then the rules all got changed and the Germans are still in the top league. Form has improved though since that poor campaign and they finished top of theie European Championship qualifying group ahead of the Netherlands. and Northern Ireland. They have just one loss in their last 12 games and the goals have certainly been flowing. Ten have come in the last two and at least two have been scored in each of their last nine matches.
Spain got off to a good start in their Nations League group with a win in England and a 6-0 home thrashing of Croatia. Then they lost their final two games and failed to make it to the finals. Their European Championship qualifying campaign was a great success ending with two wins over Malta and Romania by an aggregate score of 12-0. Spain are unbeaten in their last 11 games since losing away to Croatia in 2018. A bet on both teams to score in this match is the suggested wager.
