Germany certainly didn't have things their own way in the group stages. In their opening fixture they had to come from behind twice to grab a 2-2 draw with Mexico. It was more of the same against South Korea, leading 2-1 but trailing 3-2 before a 92nd minute equalizer by Serge Gnabry, his second goal of the game and third in the tournament. They had to win their final fixture but that was against a Fiji side that had conceded 13 goals in two games. Germany nearly matched that total themselves beating Fiji 10-0 with Nils Petersen scoring five and two more from Gnabry. That win set up a quarter final with Portugal and the goals flowed again with a 4-0 win. It took them to injury time in the first half before Gnabry broke the deadlock but they come into this game in top form now. Nigeria won their group beginning with an amazing 5-4 win over Japan, they led 5-2 before two late goals caused them a bit of a panic. Etebo scored four of Nigeria's goals so look out for him here. They followed that opening win up with a 1-0 win over Sweden before losing 2-0 to Colombia but winning the group with six points. The quarter final saw them beat Denmark 2-0 and now face a tough task against the Germans who I think can get a win here thanks to that strong attack they possess.
