Germany vs Czechia Prediction & Betting Tips - International Friendlies
by Daniel Ngulu | in Football Predictions
Germany have not had it easy in their recent matches and as the international break comes, they will hope to stitch up with a friendly game at home to Czech Republic. While they are unbeaten in their last 10 matches, Germany have not been able to perform as expected and head to this game with just one win in their last five. Their only win in that period was a labored 2-1 victory away to Ukraine. It was their first ever win in the UEFA Nations League and while they were supposed to build on it, they struggled against Switzerland in their most recent game. Playing at home, the former world champions had to come from 2-0 then 3-2 down to secure a point in a 3-3 draw. They have lost their defensive touch too, and head to this game with no clean sheet in their last six games, while in the last 11 they have just three. The Germans have scored 10 goals in the last five matches, but conceded nine and it will be tougher going forward, with a key defensive player, Joshua Kimmich injured. They are unbeaten in six straight home matches but each of the last three, and four of the six ended in draws. In three of their last six home matches, they took the lead but could not win at the end as they allowed their opponents back in. These two sides met in the qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup and Germany, then world champions, won both.
Czech head to this game having suffered a loss to Scotland in their Nations League group game, which hampers their promotion chances. However, compared to Germany, they have a better recent form, with three wins in their last five matches. The loss to Scotland presented only the second time they have failed to score in their last 14 matches. Meanwhile, they have no clean sheet in nine straight matches as they head to Germany for this clash. Czech Republic have however conceded more than once in just two of their last 10 matches. They have three wins and a loss in their last four away matches, but none of the teams they have faced in those games matches the quality Germany brings on board. They beat Israel, Cyprus and Slovakia before their loss to Scotland and one notable thing here is that they have conceded in each of their last five away matches.

Our Germany vs Czechia Prediction
Both Germany and Czech Republic have not been satisfactory in their recent matches and going here they will be seeking the winning formula ahead of more serious games. Both sides have been scoring with some consistency, but rarely keeping clean sheets. We expect this to continue here as the nations stick to their philosophies. Germany have come short at home in recent games, with just one clean sheet in eight games while Czech have none in the last five away, thus we are backing both to score. However, with just one loss in 15 at home, we will go with a 3-1 correct score win for Germany.
