Chile top Group B of the Confederations Cup after their 2-0 win against Cameroon in their opening game. It took two late goals to get that win though and now they take on Germany who held on for a 3-2 victory over Australia in their first match. This tournament has never been won by Germany, their best finish being third in 2005 when host nations. They are having few problems in their World Cup qualifying group at present and are certain to be back here next year defending their title. The win over Australia means they have just one loss over 90 minutes in their last 18 internationals. Chile have only won four of their eight games this calendar year and the win over Cameroon ended a run of two without a win in the build-up to this tournament. They have injury worries over the prolific Alexis Sanchez but with their final game in this group being against Australia, Chile will still expect to comfortably qualify for the semi-finals.
