At the start of the European U21 Championship, it would have been impossible to predict a Germany U21 versus Portugal U21 final, but here they are. The two nations face off with Germany going for a third title as Portugal seek their first. A 5-3 win over Italy U21 in the quarters raised questions about their defensive capabilities but against Spain they were fantastic. Portugal have four clean sheets in five matches and have won each of these. They have scored two or more goals in three of their five matches at this competition and in total, they have 12 goals, with three conceded.
