Wales are unbeaten in this group and with two games to go are in second place in this group a point ahead of the Republic of Ireland and four behind leaders Serbia. They have a couple of major worries though as they travel to Georgia for their penultimate fixture. Firstly, they are without Gareth Bale who hasn't gotten over a calf injury. Even more worrying is that out of nine qualifying groups, only the top eight second placed teams go into the play-offs and Wales are currently ninth in that list, so could finish second and still be eliminated. That means they need to get plenty of points from their final two games and could ultimately regret the five draws they have had so far and that includes a 1-1 draw at home to Georgia and three of their four away games have ended in stalemate. A win here would mean they just have to avoid defeat in their final home game against rivals Ireland but anything less will most likely mean they have to beat the Irish. Georgia are fifth in the group with just five points and they are yet to win a game with all their points coming from draws. They have only lost two of their last nine home games but have just one victory in their last 18 home World Cup qualifiers. Wales have only lost one of their last 12 games and know three points just have to be earned, go for them to get a hard fought away win.
