The home side are struggling for form at present but then again so are their opponents. Gent have lost their last three league games and slipped down to seventh in the table. That's one  place below the top six that guarantees you a place in the Championship group at the end of the season. However, it's Charleroi who are in that sixth position and only two points clear of their opponents so a win will see the home team back in the top six. Home form is their strong point with them winning their first eight home league games of the season before a draw with fourth placed Ostende and a home loss to second placed Anderlecht. Charleroi have lost their last two league games to KV Mechelen and Anderlecht, both above them in the league table. Away form sees them with just two wins in ten matches with five ending in a draw. Their last win on the road was at Waasland-Beveren but they only have two teams below them in the  table. A home win looks the best tip here.
