Galatasaray vs MKE Ankaragucu Prediction & Betting Tips - Super Lig

Galatasaray topped the Turkish Super Lig by a point after winning their fifth straight fixture. They bid to make it six in a row when hosting 13th placed Ankaragucu. It’s likely that by the time this game begins Galatasaray may have slipped to second in the table. That will happen if Fenerbahce (who Galatasaray travel to on January 8) earn at least a point at Antalyaspor on Tuesday. Galatasaray have a good chance here to ensure they end round 16 of the Turkish Super Lig in top position. They are unbeaten in their last six league matches and since the league season resumed have had wins over Istanbulspor and at Sivasspor thanks to a late goal. Of 15 league games this season, only six have been at home. Their first saw them lose to Giresunspor but since then they have won four and drawn the other with the last two both being won 2-1.

Ankaragucu are only a point above the relegation zone. They’ve also beaten Antalyaspor since the season resumed but their most recent match saw them beaten 2-1 at home by Umraniyespor who are bottom of the table and were winning only their second league game of the season. They have only won one of their last four league games but have shown good away form of late. Overall on the road they have eight points from seven away league fixtures. They lost their first three of the season but since then have won two and drawn the others. Three of those games have been against sides currently in the bottom six, so this is a much tougher task for them and one that should end in defeat.
