The hugely taxing December schedule has not been kind to Fulham, just like it has been for most of the season and they head to this game with just two points picked in the five matches they have played in the month. This is in contrast to Wolves, who have picked nine points from a possible 15 in the last five matches; this will be their fifth match in December and the festive period is going just fine for them, having won four three matches in December and lost one, understandably to Liverpool. Fulham have spent the better part of the season so far in bottom place but with good planning and a bit of fortune they could rise after this game, then get off the red zone with the final match of the year. Their recent record however gives little hope for that. They have managed just two wins in the season, against struggling sides – Southampton and Burnley and their last win, against Southampton, is the only one in the last 15 league matches. The draw with Newcastle last time out is the team’s only clean sheet in the league this season and facing a Wolves side that has scored twice in three of their last four matches will prove an uphill task for them defensively. Fulham are not the best scorers in the league, having failed to find the back of the net in six of their last 10 matches, but Wolves are also not the best defensive side, with just one clean sheet in their last 10 matches so both sides will want to be explorative here. Wolves have five wins in six matches against Fulham and they will definitely head into this game with the favorites’ tag. They have 20 wins in the 42 meetings between the two sides while Fulham have managed just 11 wins.
