Fulham vs Southampton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

A change of management was almost inevitable after Fulham sunk to the bottom of the English Premier League after losing their sixth game in a row (seven including the Carabao Cup). Claudio Ranieri is now in charge and his first task is to plug Fulham's leaky defence. They have already conceded 31 league goals this season and another problem is that they haven't scored in their last three league matches. They have Chelsea after this game and then what is bound to be an emotional game as they host Ranieri's former club Leicester City. Home form for Fulham has seen them beat Burnley and draw with Watford but lose the other three. Only in the 1-1 draw with Watford have they managed to avoid conceding at least twice in a home game and that has to stop if they want to get out of the bottom three.

Southampton struggled to stay up last season and only a good late run under new boss Mark Hughes saved them. He hasn't been able to take them forward this season and they are only one place above the relegation zone on goal difference from Cardiff and are only a point ahead of Fulham. A loss at Craven Cottage will take them into the bottom three and Southampton have eight league games without a win. Goals are a problem for them with only eight scored this season and they have failed to score in three of the last four away league games. This looks like being a game that has under 2.5 goals scored in it which would be a decent start for Ranieri win, lose or draw.
