Fulham play Newcastle United at home before getting ready for their return to the Championship next season. They are one from bottom in the table and that's where they will finish as it's impossible to catch 18th placed Cardiff City. Since their relegation was confirmed they have won three league games out of four games played. It's good for their fans to see some victories but all far too late to save them. It's their away form that has condemned them to relegation with just five points earned all season. Home form has been poor too but at least they have won six games but been beaten nine times. Five of their last six home league games have had under 2.5 goals scored in them and another low-scoring match looks likely here.

Newcastle United have had another up-and-down season but start this final game of the season in 14th place. It's been the usual story of backroom problems and criticism of their transfer policy. At least they signed striker Miguel Almiron for a record fee and who knows he might even score a goal for United soon. Their away form has been a problem all season with just three league wins and just one in the last ten. Only 14 away league goals have been scored this season with just the three relegated teams scoring less on their travels. A bet on under 2.5 goals can be a winner here.
