Fulham vs Chelsea Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Chelsea will attempt to revive their Premier League title challenge this week when they travel to Craven Cottage for a match against Fulham. The Blues are ninth in the tabl and now six points off the final Champions League place. Meanwhile, Fulham are 18th in the table, two points from safety but with a couple of games in hand.. Fulham have no wins in their last six league games but it's not as bad as it sounds. Their last five league games have all been drawn, the latest being a 1-1 draw at Tottenham on Wednesday. They have also held Liverpool and Southampton to draws. Each of their last seven league and cup games have had under 2.5 goals scored. Only three goals have ben conceded in the last six which is a big improvement on their early season defensive problems.  Scott Parker's side is unbeaten in four of their previous five home games, keeping clean sheets in three. The last two have ended goalless but they have still only had one home league win this season.

Chelsea are unbeaten in 17 meetings against Fulham, their last defeat in this fixture coming in 2006. While that is a long run, four losses in Chelsea's last six Premier League matches may bolster belief in Parker's men that they can end that victory drought. Frank Lampard is under immense pressure, and anything but a win will only add to the discussion of Chelsea replacing him. The Blues have failed to win five of their eight away matches in the Premier League. Big-money attacking additions are struggling for Chelsea. It is a gelling period which Lampard cannot afford. Three of Chelsea's last six away league matches featured fewer than three goals. We suggest backing this game to have under 2.5 goals.
