Fulham host Aston Villa on Saturday with both teams very much in a run of inconsistent form. Fortunately for Fulham, their issues have been on the road, where they have the second worst away record in the Premier League this season, with just one win and four draws from their 12 away games. At home though, they have been very solid and especially against Aston Villa where they have a fantastic record of seven wins from their last nine games at Craven Cottage against today's opponents. They also go into the game in good spirits after last week's 3-1 win against Bournemouth where Bobby De Cordova-Reid and a double from Rodrigo Muniz handed them a win over the out of sorts Cherries. 

Aston Villa will probably be glad this game is away from home as the Villains have lost their last three home games in all competitions, that after having the best home record in the Premier League over the first 10 games of the season. Defeats to Newcastle and Chelsea, both by a 3-1 scoreline, was followed by a 2-1 home loss to Manchester UNited last weekend where Villa squandered a large number of gilt-edged chances before losing to a late Scott McTominay header. On the road recently Villa have won two and drawn two of their last four away games in all competitions, with the two draws being uncharacteristic goalless affairs against Everton in the League and then Chelsea in the cup. They put that right by crashing five past Sheffield United at Bramall Lane, all five goals coming in the first 47 minutes of the game.
