Freiburg will be back at home for their next Bundesliga game, taking on Borussia Dortmund in Match Day 4 action. A point stands between the sides, eighth placed Freiburg on six points, and Dortmund ninth with five points. Freiburg suffered a 5-0 loss to Stuttgart in their last league game and will hope to do better this time. They warmed up for this game with a 1-0 friendly win over Karlsruhe during the international break. Conceding six times in three league matches should cause major worries at Freiburg especially ahead of a game against Dortmund. They’ve however failed to score in just one of four games and that should offer some solace. In their four matches this season, two have had over 2.5 goals. Also, each of the last six meetings between these two sides has had over 2.5 goals.

Borussia Dortmund haven't really picked up as expected this season. For a side that went into the final day last season fighting for the title, they’ve disappointed so far. Two of those four matches had over 2.5 goals. While their defensive output leaves a lot to be desired, their away run in the league is a major concern. In six away league matches, they have one win, and a clean sheet. Four of their last six away league matches have produced over 2.5 goals.
