World Champions France have had a goalless draw in Germany and a home win over the Netherlands since their victory in Russia. Those four points put them in a strong position in their UEFA Nations League group and before hosting Germany on the 16th, they have a home friendly against out-of-form Iceland. The French are unbeaten in their last 13 games winning seven of the last nine. Home form has just the loss in a friendly to Colombia in their last 11 and this game looks an excellent opportunity to get a win before taking on the Germans.

Iceland have been living a dream for the past couple of years reaching their first European and World Cup finals. However, it's gradually turning into a nightmare after being knocked out in their group in Russia and starting the UEFA Nations League with two defeats and conceding nine goals. Take away two friendly wins in Indonesia that weren't recognised by FIFA and Iceland are still looking for their frst win of 2018 with two draws and seven defeats. 25 goals have been conceded in those nine games with only seven scored and they have only scored in one of their last four games. Their last game against France was in the Euro 2016 quarter final which they lost 5-2. Twelve previous games between these two countries have never produced a win for Iceland and France have scored 11 in the last three.
