France slipped down to second place in their World Cup qualifying group after losing a lead and being defeated by Sweden 2-1. With three of their final four qualifiers being at home, they should still win the group but will want a good performance against England before a vital home qualifier against the Netherlands in August.  Home form in friendlies is strong with just a loss to Spain in their last nine but keeping clean sheets isn't their greatest asset. Seven of their last 12 games have seen both teams score. England weren't at all impressive against Scotland but their under-20's did win the World Cup on Sunday, something we'll hear forever as the senior side continually struggle to win anything. They very nearly lost to Scotland at the weekend and will be looking for a better performance here against a much stronger side. There are still defensive worries over the side, particularly goalie Joe Hart but they are strong up front. Go for both teams to score in this game.
