Fiorentina have a good chance to end a poor recent run of form. They are down to eighth in Serie A and host Frosinone who are six places and 11 points behind them. Fiorentina are still in with a good chance of European football next season. They are only a couple of points off the Europa Conference League qualification position atter 22 games of the season. A Champions League place is only five points away and entry into the Europa League just four. There's a lot to play for then but Fiorentina have only earned one point from their last four Serie A fixtures. Their last league game was a 3-2 loss at Lecce but they led that 2-1 going into the 90th minute. Six of their 11 home league games have been won with three lost. Their most recent home league game saw them lose 1-0 to Inter. 

Frosinone are only five points above the relegation zone. It's their away form which is putting them in danger of being dragged into a battle to stay in Serie A. They are yet to win on the road with just three points and nine goals in 11 league games. They were beaten at home 3-2 by Milan in their most recent league fixture after leading 2-1. Only one of their last ten matches in Serie A has been won. They'd lost eight away league fixtures in a row before getting a point at relegation threatened Verona in their last fixture on the road.
