The semi-finals of the Coppa Italia will be contested this week, and on Thursday, we will see Fiorentina take on Cremonese, with the winners moving on to take on either Inter Milan or Juventus in the final. The hosts hold a commanding 2-0 lead coming into this match thanks to goals by Arthur Cabral and Nicolas Gonzalez in the first leg. In that match, Fiorentina dominated their opponent from the first whistle, restricting Cremonese to just 38% possession and three shots on target. Despite losing their Conference League match against Lech Poznan last week, Fiorentina still managed to advance to the semi-final of that tournament with a 6-4 aggregate. Following that match, the hosts lost 3-2 to Monza in the league, which takes their record to two wins, two draws, and two losses in their last six matches in all competitions. At home, Fiorentina has been formidable, losing just one of their last nine matches in all competitions at Stadio Artemio Franchi. With a solid lead and on their home patch, the hosts are firmly expected to progress to the final.

Their away form has also been fairly poor, winning just one of their last six matches on the road, along with two draws and three losses. Despite their struggles this season, Cremonese have beaten Roma and Napoli in the previous rounds; however, needing to score three times without conceding may be a step too far for the visitors, who have only kept one clean sheet in over 20 matches in all competitions.
