Mid-table Fiorentina may have to step up to repeat last season’s heroics against AC Milan when the sides meet in matchday 25 at Stadio Artemio Franchi on Saturday. The hosts are sitting pretty in the mid-table at 13th with 28 points from 24 matches while the visitors are 3rd with 47 points from same number of matches ahead of this round. Fiorentina defeated Verona 3-0 in the last round making it three wins from their last four competitive matches. Yet, with the top-six spots considerably far, they could be putting emphasis on Europa Conference League to secure European football for next season. That could mean one eye on the preparations for the upcoming game against Sivasspor although memories of a 4-3 here last season over Milan are still fresh.
