Feyenoord is just a few more wins from securing the Eredivisie title and will look to take a step closer to that goal when they welcome RKC Waalwijk to Stadion Feijenoord for a league clash on Sunday evening. The hosts currently lead the Eredivisie  and have opened up a strong eight-point lead over the chasing pack of Ajax and PSV. Feyenoord won their last league match 3-1 against Sparta Rotterdam, which extended their incredible record to twenty matches unbeaten, including 14 wins and six draws. The home side is also unbeaten in the league this season at Stadion Feijenoord, boasting a record of nine wins and four draws in 13 matches. Feyenoord is unbeaten in their last six matches against this opponent, winning four and drawing two, and will be confident of stretching that run even further with another win in this one. 

RKC Waalwijk has had a decent season to date but will want to finish strongly as they still remain in the hunt for a Europa Conference League berth. The visitors are currently 8th in the Eredivise with 35 points, just four points behind Utrecht and the playoff spots, though they do have a game in hand on the sides above them. Waalwijk’s away record has been their downfall this season, with just two wins in 12 matches on the road, along with five draws and five losses. The visitors have been outscored 13-6 in their winless run against this opposition and will likely find it difficult to take anything from the champions-elect on their home patch.
