Feyenoord can secure the Eredivisie title this weekend with two games to spare when they host 11th placed Go Ahead Eagles on Sunday afternoon. The hosts currently sit atop the league standings with 76 points after 31 games, eight points clear of PSV in second, and needing just one more win to secure their 16th domestic title. Feyenoord have been excellent this season, and following their 2-0 win over Excelsior last weekend, the champions-elect extended their unbeaten run to an incredible 24 matches, including 18 wins and six draws.  The home side are unbeaten at home this season, winning 11 and drawing four of their 15 matches on home soil. Feyenoord won the reverse fixture 4-3 back in September and are on a four-match win streak against this opponent. In front of their home fans and with a title to be won, the hosts should get the job done in this one. 

Meanwhile, the Go Ahead Eagles have had a solid season and have already accumulated more points this term than they managed last term. The visitors are currently in 11th place in the Eredivisie and safe from relegation and could still finish eighth and go into the Europa Conference League play-offs. Just four points separate them from Waalwijk who currently fill that position. Go ahead Eagles played out a 1-1 draw to Groningen (now relegated) in their last match, which also helped extend their unbeaten run to three matches, including two wins and a draw. However, their away form this season hasn’t been as impressive, recording three wins, four draws, and eight losses in 15 league matches on the road. The visitors have been outscored 15-3 by this opponent in their four-match losing run and are likely to find it even more difficult than usual in this one, with the hosts playing for the title.
