Feyenoord vs Atletico Madrid Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions League

Third placed Feyenoord look to continue their good home form in Champions League Group E. They host group leaders Atletico Madrid but will go ahead of them if winning on Tuesday evening. The Dutch champions are only a point behind second placed Lazio who host bottom-of-the-group Celtic on the same evening. Anything but a win for Celtic will guarantee Feyenoord at least a transfer to the Europa League. They will want more than that though and have already beaten both Celtic and Lazio on home ground in this group. Their last seven home matches in all competitions have ended in victory for the Club of the People. After this match against Atletico they end the group with a trip to Celtic. Saturday saw them win 4-2 at Excelsior and are second in their domestic league. Santiago Giminez was in top form in that game, scoring a hat-trick. 

Atletico Madrid are a clear point at the top and two above Feyenoord. The La Liga side are already guaranteed at least a move to the Europa League if finishing third. That's the last thing they want though. A win on Tuesday will take them into the Champions League knockout stages. They are the only team in this group yet to lose a game. Both of their home games have been won with both their two away fixtures ending in score draws. The reverse fixture against Feyenoord ended in a 3-2 home win for Atletico after twice trailing. Saturday produced a 1-0 home win over Villarreal. Only two of their last six away games have been won and none of the last six in the Champions League.
