They are set to travel to Rotterdam to meet Dutch side Feyenoord in their UEFA Champions League knockout playoff. This match at the Stadion Feijenoord will be the first leg of the tie, and in this preview, we will have a pick of two predictions in case you are looking to bet on the game.
Feyenoord booked their playoff spot courtesy of a 19th placed finish, after managing 13 points in the league phase. History has fond memories for the Dutch side coming to this game. They won the Netherlands’ first European Cup in 1969/70 at Milan’s San Siro home, having eliminated Milan along the way.

Feyenoord - AC Milan: Form Analysis
Feyenoord wrapped up their league phase assignments with a loss, dropping points in a 6-1 defeat at Lille. That marked the first of three straight losses, all in away games. They fell 2-1 at Ajax before losing 2-0 at PSV in the KNVB Beker.
Their return at home saw them bounce back in comfortable fashion, beating Sparta Rotterdam 3-0. A second straight home game comes in midweek, with Feyenoord hoping to take a first leg advantage ahead of a trip to Milan.
With a run of five wins in seven home matches, the Dutch side will be confident here. They also posted back-to-back wins in their last two home Champions League games.
Feyenoord suffered just one loss in the last seven home matches.
Milan’s recent run hasn’t been as erratic as their hosts’. They are coming here on a three-match undefeated run, the last two having ended in wins.
After a late draw with rivals Inter Milan, they beat Roma 3-1 to advance in the Coppa Italia. Milan then built on that with a 2-0 away win at Empoli in Serie A.
Heading into this game, they will feel confident of bagging a second straight away win. Their last away match in the Champions League ended in a shock loss to Dinamo Zagreb, denying them a top eight place.
Milan had, however, won at Real Madrid and Slovan Bratislava and will feel optimistic about this trip.

Feyenoord suffered a bit in the league phase, conceding four own goals. Two of them came in the 6-1 drubbing by Lille and Gernot Trauner was responsible for both.
The defender has missed the last two matches but isn’t yet ruled out here. If called upon, he will be hoping for a better game this time, and probably add to his one goal in the competition.
Feyenoord will have some positive news in Hartman Quilindschy’s return. He played his second match over the weekend after recovering from a knee injury suffered in March.
The Dutch side will, however, be without a few injured players, including Justin Bijlow (knee), Calvin Stengs (hamstring) and Ramiz Zerrouki (leg).
Gernot Trauner scored two own goals in Feyenoord’s last UCL game.
The player in focus at Milan will definitely be Santiago Gimenez. The Mexican played for Feyenoord in the league phase, scoring key goals that propelled them to this stage. Now he will be looked at to play the destroyer-in-chief’s role. His life at Milan is already off to a flying start, with a goal and an assist in his first two matches.
Another new boy, Kyle Walker, is in line for his Champions League debut at Milan following his arrival on loan from Manchester City.
Joao Felix, who arrived from Chelsea is in line for his first Champions League game this season.
There’s some mixed injury news though, with Emerson Royal set to miss with a calf injury but Malick Thiaw should earn a start. Thiaw returned on Saturday after spending a few weeks out with a thigh injury.
